Treats!

Treats are a necessity for training. I found some good options on Amazon for you to try! My dog's favorites are Zuke's Minis Naturals in the salmon flavor :)

These Zuke's treats come in many flavors, here's the "Salmon Recipe." It also comes in "Peanut Butter & Oats Recipe," "Beef Recipe," and "Chicken Recipe."

Clickers

Clickers are a great training tool! They are used to tell your dog what behavior you are rewarding them for. By clicking right when they do the intended behavior, it lets them know what they should keep doing. Then of course, you can give them a treat!

Treat Pouch

I have used this treat pouch with my pup and it is so helpful! Keeping all of your treats in one, secured place makes sure your dog doesn't sneak any. Its also useful because you can wear it outside to take on walks or for outdoor training.

This specific one is great because it has a clip to clip onto your clothes, a magnetic closing, and comes in so many cute colors! Of course, I showed you the pink one :)

Potty Doorbell

We have used this potty doorbell with our pup and have absolutely loved it! Every time someone comes over, they are extremely impressed that our dog can ring the bell to tell us he has to go out.

To train our dog to use it, we started ringing the bell every time we took him out to go potty. Eventually, he got the idea and before we opened the door, we made him ring the bell. Now he rings the bell on his own to let us know he has to go out.

Waterproof Blankets

Waterproof blankets are a must-have for house and potty training. We purchased a few of these and used them around the house on couches and chairs. You will be thankful that you had these when your pup went to go pee on the couch!

Snuggle Puppy

This is 100% one of the best purchases I have made for my pup. He absolutely ADORES this puppy. It has a heartbeat and a heat pack to soothe your dog's anxiety.

The reason I included this in "training" was because it is extremely helpful in crate training. Leaving this in the crate with my dog made him much less anxious and made him feel comfortable in the crate.

To this day, my dog still carries this dog around, plays, and snuggles with it, even though he is far past being a puppy.

Puppy Pads

Puppy pads are a must-have for house training. When we first got our pup, his free-range space in the house was limited and we slowly made it larger. We lined the space he was in with these puppy pads and are so grateful we did because the second we put him on the ground when we first got him, he pooped right there!
